What Do I Need To Get Started?

You are ready to get started, you have signed up for the FASTer Way to Fat Loss 6 week program and you are wondering what you need to get started. Here is a list of suggested items to have on hand to set yourself up for success!

Weights

If you are just starting out, you can start with body weight, and a pair of 5 and 8lb dumbbells. As you progress, you will want to increase your weight. If you have been working out with weights before, you might start with a set of 10 and 15lb dumbbells.

Bands

I reccomend this fabric band for lower body exercises. If you are newer to working out there are other resistance bands you can use for your workouts. Click Here.

These may be helpful if you have had joint issues in the past (shoulders, knees).

Protein
Powder

Two of my favorite protein powders. You can find these in my shop. Garden of Life can also be purchased at Target, Walmart and some local grocery stores.

Yoga Mat

Helpful to have a mat or a yoga mat for some of the exercises we perform on the floor. A yoga mat can provide extra cushioning under feet or knees. There are so many brands to choose from and you might even find a reasonably priced mat at TJ Maxx or Target. Here is a Mat that I like.

Water
Bottle

Water is essential to your weight loss journey. We aim to consume half of our body weight in ounces each day. A good water bottle can make it easier to get your water in each day.

This is my latest and most favorite water bottle. Its simple and modern design, plus it fits in my cup holder in my car. Win! Find one that works for you!
